New Lex Arcana Kickstarter

This is a quick notice to all of you out there who enjoyed my Lex Arcana review and the older interview with Valerio Ferzi about the game’s development. If you didn’t, the tl;dr version is that I love this game and think it’s both visually stunning and well-constructed. Zilats of Satyrine

I love the idea in Invisible Sun of zilats. There are vislae, like the player characters, and there are nons who can’t use a single spell. But there are also zilats who can do one particular kind of magic and nothing else. In my campaign I like the PCs to be special so I limit the number of other vislae they interact with. Most of the NPCs they encounter are zilats and it can be really fun to come up with their magical specialties.

Rule Changes in the Klingon Empire Rulebook

The Klingon Empire Core Rulebook for Star Trek Adventures includes some amazing new options for your campaign, many of which could be included in your Starfleet games. The book also has some stealthy updates of mechanics scattered through the book. I imagine these will be included in future errata for the game as a whole but in the meantime here are all the mechanical changes from the Klingon Empire Rulebook.
