Lower Deck Roles

I’m very excited about the new slate of Star Trek shows coming to CBS, especially the animated Lower Decks show about junior officers aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos. It got me thinking about running a campaign of junior officers, something that I’m doing right now, and wishing again that there were character roles appropriate to those sorts of characters. More Medals for STA

The recent medal tracker displayed on Continuing Mission has inspired me to take another look at the awards and commendations in the Command Division Supplement. It’s a great option that provides some color to the game’s Reputation system, not to mention it’s a way to fundamentally “level up” your character’s abilities, which is something that players often want more of in Star Trek Adventures. Of course, nothing is ever final in RPGs and this list of awards could always be longer. To that end, here are some additional awards for your campaign to inspire and reward your players.

Invisible Sun: Advancing Characters

City of Mist: Fianna Allies

I’m back today with two short characters for your City of Mist campaign, specifically ones that are tied to the Fianna Rifts David Marcus and Laney Dearborn. These characters are presented as Allies that you can add to your character through development as part of a campaign. You can add the story of the Warriors biker gang as a side story in any case you like (including published ones) or use gaining more power as a story to pull David, Laney, and their allies along through multiple cases.
