This is the next iteration of the game system behind Marvel Heroic Roleplaying and the Firefly RPG to name a few. Dueling Fops of Vindamere Review

I’m here today with a short, fast game called Dueling Fops of Vindamere. While this isn’t a one-page RPG by any means it is very straightforward and speedy, an especially unexpected quality because it’s written by Greg Stolze of Godlike and Unknown Armies fame. Unlike these two games the mechanics of Dueling Fops are simple but it does carry the characteristic Stolze approach of an incredibly open-ended gaming experience.

Repost: Creating Superhero Settings

If you, like me, are still excited about Moon Knight and looking forward to seeing In the Multiverse of Madness then you’ve got superheroes on the mind. With the new season of Mistconceptions out as well it’s a great time to think about a superhero game with the system of your choice (consider Sentinel Comics RPG if you don’t have a favorite). The One Ring 2e, Part One

Today I’m here with the first half of a look at The One Ring by Fria Ligan. This is the second edition of the Tolkien-inspired game originally published by Cubicle 7 who produced Adventures in Middle-earth alongside it and continue to support Warhammer games (fantasy and 40k), Dr. Who RPG, and Lone Wolf. Now the torch (and much of the writing staff) has passed to Fria Ligan who make Coriolis, Mutant Year Zero, and Tales From the Loop. This is definitely a continuation of the ruleset, but improved in some awesome ways. Let’s get into it!
