Alright! We’re at the end of our run of Agents of Yesterday, the time-displaced expansion for Star Trek Online. The first post in this mini-series just looked at starships of the 26th century and what options you had. The second post looked at eight different spaceframes that feature in the expansion, both 23rd century vessels and the 26th century versions they inspired. STO Spaceframes: Agents of Yesterday, Part 1
Back in 2016, Star Trek Online celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek franchise with the release of the “Agents of Yesterday” expansion. This involved a new faction (Starfleet in the 23rd century) but it was also connected to the Star Trek Online main plot through some time-traveling shenanigans. It might be messy to meld altogether from an RPG standpoint but we’re doing it all so here we go!

I’ve been working on spaceframes for Star Trek Adventures, specifically spaceframes inspired by the huge roster of ships available in Star Trek Online. Like my previous post about spaceframes in the 25th century, this is laying out some default rules for ships in the 26th century, a period later than the events of Star Trek Online but intruding on the Federation nonetheless.

In writing spaceframes for Star Trek Adventures using the roster of ships from Star Trek Online, I’ve started to tackle advanced spaceframes from the 25th century. These starships include some advanced armaments and technological advances that are just plain better than those of the Next Generation era. Rather than tie up those advancements in valuable Starship Talents, these are the changes I recommend for spaceframes designed after 2400.
